Therapist/Clinician

Hybrid (Telehealth/ In-person)

The Therapist/ Clinician provides professional therapeutic services to persons as identified. The Therapist/ Clinician will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history to identify problems and service needs. The Therapists will assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Assist individuals to deal with problems ranging from short-term personal issues to severe, chronic conditions. Supervision will be provided for master’s level therapist. This role also provides the opportunity as agreed upon to create online psychoeducation courses, workshops, and other speaking engagements. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Provides individual, family or group therapeutic counseling and/or educational and skill development sessions as indicated in the treatment plan.

  2. Monitors patient’s progress and compliance with the treatment plan.

  3. Writes progress notes in a timely manner that relate directly to the treatment outcomes described

  4. in the treatment plan.

  5. Assembles, analyzes, and interprets new/updated information about the consumer to reassess treatment needs.

  6. Establish, document, and implement treatment plans.

  7. Assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to  clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

  8. Participates in providing treatment and dual diagnosis services.

  9. Maintains confidentiality and security of administered tests and test results, in accordance with ethical standards and HIPAA.

  10. Provides Faith-based counseling in accordance to clients’ needs 

  11. Maintains necessary patient records 

  12. Participate in other tasks as agreed upon including, social media management, writing      blog post, creating online psychoeducation courses, workshops, and other speaking engagements.  

  13. Adheres to all standards of practice outlined by the APA, NASW Code of Ethics, State Licensing Board, and other professionally relevant psychological bodies under the management staff. 

  14. The Therapists functions as a multidisciplinary team member providing direct clinical services and interventions to patients, families, and significant others affected by a mental health and/or substance abuse disorder through professionally approved and appropriate means and meth 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have Masters (MSW) in social work, MA in Psychology or other psychology field 

  2. Along with an MSW or MA you must also be licensed by the State of Massachusetts or Rhode Island. Dual licensure preferred.  

  3. Must have professional liability insurance.. You must also have experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health related disorders.

  4. The pay range for this position is based upon experience. Based upon experience and licensure this may be negotiable.

Pay:

  • Competitive Rate: $40-$60 FFS dependent on experience and licensure

  • 2 years counseling experience (Preferred)
