Faith and mental health do not have to exist in separate spaces.

An Untroubled Heart is a 12-week Bible study by Ebunoluwa Orimoloye, MSW, LICSW, created for women who want to explore anxiety through both Scripture and practical reflection. The study was developed to help readers better understand and manage anxiety while strengthening their relationship with God.

Across twelve weeks, readers explore topics including God’s promises, spiritual tools for managing anxiety, fear, thought transformation, coping skills, waiting seasons, suffering, the power of words, spiritual warfare, and abiding in love.

Each week includes five days of Bible-based readings, commentary, and reflection questions, followed by a dedicated reflection day and an optional catch-up day. Most daily readings and activities are designed to take approximately 15–20 minutes, making the study approachable for both individual use and group Bible study.

Throughout the book, biblical wisdom is paired with discussions of emotional wellness, thought patterns, coping strategies, community, prayer, and therapy. The goal is not to suggest that faith replaces professional care, but to help women explore how their spiritual life and mental health can support one another. The author specifically notes that the book is a helpful tool, not a substitute for therapy or care from a licensed mental health professional.
